Q: Are my deposit accounts FDIC insured?
A: Yes! Each individual customer's account is insured by the FDIC up to $100,000.00 per account.

Q: How do I open an account?
A: Come to either of our convenient bank locations with your Drivers License or Photo I.D. and your opening deposit. One of our friendly staff members will be happy to assist you in the rest of the process in opening any new account.

Q: How do I set up Direct Deposit of my payroll check:
A: Once you have opened your new account with Citizens State Bank, you will receive our routing and transit number along with your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to the human resources or payroll department at your company, and your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days.

Q: How do I set up Direct Deposit of my Social Security check?
A: Simply stop by the bank and notify us that you would like to have your Social Security directly deposited and we will have you sign the necessary forms to submit the request to the Social Security Administration.

Q: What is Citizens State Bank's routing and transit number?
A: Our routing and transit number is 073906526.

Q: Is interest paid on my checking account?
A: Yes! If you want a checking account that pays a market rate of interest, check out our NOW Account.

Q: How frequently is my information updated?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that posted to your account the previous business day. Transactions made through online banking are cut off at 2pm each business day. Transactions that occur through the ATM or at either bank location cut off at 3pm each business day.

Q: Are wire transfers possible to and from my checking account?
A: Yes! Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer or via ACH (Automated Clearing House) debits or credits. Contact us for wire instructions.

Q: What is Privileged Status?
A: Privileged Status is a network of over 700 institutions in 29 states that have banded together so that our customers can use each other's ATMs without a surcharge. When using an ATM look for the Privileged Satus logo on the machine. If there is one present you will not be charged a surcharge for the transaction. Contact one of our convenient bank locations for further details or log onto www.shazam.net, click on ATM locator then on Privileged Status for a list of participating ATMs.

Q: How do I make a deposit to my account from a remote location?
A: You can do most of your banking by using direct deposit, ATMs or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions. We also offer Dial-A-Bank to allow you to inquire on your account transactions, transfer money between accounts and make loan payments.
